Martin Choy wins the Bulgarian Grand Prix for the 11th time
First place and a record-breaking performance
Martin Choy with BMW won his 11th Bulgarian Bike Grand Prix by dominating the SST 1000 Class.
GLOBUL Racing Team’s star pilot was once again untouchable for the competition with his record-breaking performance in the last leg of the Bulgarian Championship held at the Dolna Mitropolia Circuit near Pleven. His win was more than convincing as he set a new lap record for the circuit of 1.31.796.
Because of his participation in the European Championship the pilot could not take part in all of the races included in the calendar of the Bulgarian Championship so winning here was mandatory if he wanted to secure the title. Despite some issues with his bike, Choy managed to win.
I am glad I won again even though the competition was not very intense said Choy after the award ceremony.
The next race in the European Alpe Adria Championship will take place between August 1 and August 3 in Poznan, Poland.
