Armeec’s nationally important cause
The Patriotism Project was launched in 2014. Its main objective is to preserve historic national values, cultural and natural heritage, and to reinforce, nurture, and preserve Bulgarian spirit. This project is being implemented in a variety of directions through support of or sole organization of a series of nationally important events.
The Patriotism Project is a cause for Armeec Insurance Jsc. It is a perennial targeted program that aims to remind people of the lessons in patriotism from the past that we have not read about or have forgotten to teach our children because Bulgaria must exist even after we are gone.
The project was first launched on Bulgaria’s national holiday – March 3, 2014 by attaching a poster-size color rendering of the Braila Flag in every copy of the Trud Newspaper published that day.
The second stage of the project was implemented in conjunction with the Pressa Newspaper by attaching color posters of notable Bulgarians such as the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, Hristo Botev, Vasil Levski, Ivan Vazov, Petko Slaveikov, and Paisiy Hilendarski. Apart from those included in the papers, copies of these posters were given to kindergartens, schools, community centers, libraries and universities.
Armeec supported the implementation of another amazing initiative of the Struma Newspaper – the Favorite Teacher and Educator of the Pirin Region 2014 Competition.
In 2014 Armeec provided support for the creation of six documentaries about Bulgaria by the National Geographic Channel entitled Discover Bulgaria.
These are only part of the initiatives implemented in 2014 by Armeec in conjunction with regional and nationwide media outlets and public institutions.
