FC Bastun wins the Ariana amateur league finals
Armeec Insurance was selected as the insurance carrier for the participants in the Ariana Amateur League National Tournament for the third straight year. The finals of the football marathon started on July 12 in Ruse under the patronage of the Mayor, Mr. Plamen Stoilov.
FC Bastun of Varna beat FC Romano of Sofia in the finals by 6:5 after a penalty shootout to claim the Amateur League Cup. The Fair Play Prize was awarded to Dimitar Tsvetanov from FC Bastun. The medals were presented by Ariana Amateur League’s ambassador, Mr. Krasimir Balakov. The official insurance carrier for the tournament, Armeec Insurance Jsc. provided additional prizes.
The League champions played an exhibition game against Bulgaria’s champions, FC Ludogorets. The game was won by the team from Razgrad with a score of 3:1.
A total of 240 teams from all over Bulgaria took place in the tournament. The games were played in six Bulgarian cities.
