Golden prize for the travel insurances of Armeec

Insurance company Armeec won the Goldеn Prize in the category "Insurer with the largest contribution to increasing the competitiveness of the Bulgarian tourist product for 2011" in the 29th edition of the International Tourist Fair "Holiday and Spa Expo2012". The awards of the magazine "Tourism & Recreation" were presented at an official ceremony on 17 February 2012. The award is recognition of the company’s innovative flexible products and services, designed for the tourist industry. Armeec offers various insurances both for Bulgarian citizens travelling abroad and for foreign tourists. The many advantages for customers include insurance coverage for extreme sports, assistance in complicated conditions and repatriation by helicopter in Bulgaria and abroad. The options for taking out a policy range from the traditional method, i.e. visit to a company office, through activation of cover via use of a credit card abroad, to issuing online - in the company's website or by SMS. Aiming to facilitate the work of tour operators and travel agencies, Armeec allows them an access to an electronic system for issuing policies. The company has developed insurance products for visitors to amusement and entertainment complexes, hotels and restaurants. "Holiday and Spa Expo2012" was opened on 16 February by the Minister of economy, energy and tourism Traicho Traikov in the presence of diplomats, businessmen and representatives of NGOs. Bulgarian participants in the exhibition numbered 225. Most active among the foreign exhibitors were the Turkish and Greek companies. The Hungarian National Tourist Office and the Ministry of Tourism of Palestine were presented for the first time at the Fair. "Holiday and Spa Expo 2012" was accompanied by an extensive program of seminars, presentations, concerts and degustations.
